Muse Magazine
This stands to date as the most profligate project undertaken. Over 100 pages, 200+ students from two separate colleges, 3 separate full-scale photoshoots and over 1000 hours put into this project. I worked as the Editor-In-Chief and Club President. In working with the Dean of Academic Affairs (John Richardson), my director (Chris-Chen Mahoney) and the president of AiC (Dr. Valdez) be settled on the theme “elements” for issue one. All conceptualized, designed and managed by myself with the teamwork of an army of design, photography and beauty students. Due to my efforts, AiC built a working relationship with the Head Academic Director of Empire Beauty School in Lakewood, CO and I managed/directed per photoshoot 10-120 cosmetology students from this locale for the gain of portfolio and working experience for all her students involved. I managed all allocated money for funding these said projects and worked with 5 separate photography students to bring the aesthetic to fruition. The photo-editing, ad work, designs, layout and font work were all completed by myself. Every director from every department at The Art Institute of Colorado were involved. It also featured multiple interviews with students and instructors alike along with columns for the upcoming summer.
