Island Breeze Of Mackinac, Web Design & Branding
Client need an eCommerce website to sell prints from her physical location at Island Breeze Of Mackinac storefront in Mackinac City, Mackinac Island, MI. Client had no preconceived notions about design direction nor understanding of various platforms. Site was built, branded and designed, being fully functional within two weeks. Shopify was chosen as the hosting eCommerce site, to ease use for owner and abnegate “design ransom” down the road if I was taken out of scope. Design direction was taken in a classic direction with the use of watercolor shapes and stains, but clean, new age minimalist sense was chosen to bring this into the current era of art. Vivid vermillion and goldenrod complimented by teal azure for color palette popped on the light grey background; Client was thrilled.
